SMART TUITION ¦


Tuition payments are billed from and payable to SMART TUITION.   All families must complete the payment enrollment form for SMART.  SMART offers a variety of payment plans.  Families may make payments by mail, phone, online or have an automatic bank deduction.  All new families to S.C.A. must use the automatic monthly debit option for their first year with S.C.A.  There is a one time yearly convenience fee of $38.00 payable to SMART with your first tuition payment.  If your tuition payments are late, there will be a $10.00 late fee and a $20.00 follow-up fee assessed to your account with SMART.

 

If a family prefers the annual payment plan, payments will be made directly to Springfield Christian Academy.  Annual payment may be paid by cash or check only.  There is a 3% discount applied for any family paying the annual plan.  Payment for the annual plan must be received by July 1, 2007.

All other fees are paid directly to Springfield Christian Academy. 

 

Active, supporting Dixie Baptist Church members may be eligible for a discount.  To apply, please fill out and return to the school office the “D.B.C. Members Discount Form”.

 

MISCELLANEOUS FEES ¦


The following fees are non-refundable and are due prior to the first day of school.  They must be paid no later than August 24, 2007.

 

Book Fee:  (Grades K-5, per student)                               $125.00

This fee covers the cost of one copy of each workbook and rental for each hardcover book for the year.  Junior and senior high students purchase textbooks at our annual book sale and may sell them back to the school at the end of the school year at a set “buy back” date.

 

Elementary Activity Fee: (Grades K – 5  per student)          $50.00

This fee covers the cost of M.A.C.S. membership, insurance, and Stanford Achievement Testing, and admission to all regular season home games. 

 

JR/SR High Activity Fee: (Grades 6 - 12, per student)       $150.00

This fee covers the cost of M.A.C.S. membership, insurance, M.A.C.S Fine Art Competitions, Stanford Achievement Testing, School Camp, and admission to all regular season home games. 

 

Yearbook Fee: (Grades K - 12, per family)                        $65.00

Additional yearbooks are available for $50.00 each.

 

Entrance Test: (all new students)                                    $10.00

This fee is for the entrance test that is taken for all new students.

 

Kindergarten Graduation Fee:  (Kindergarten only)           $50.00

This fee helps to covers the cost of the cap, gown, diploma and reception for Kindergarten graduation.

 

High School Graduation Fee: (Grade 12 only)                    $60.00

This fee helps to covers the cost of the cap, gown, and diploma and program for graduation.

 

Gym Uniform Fee: (Grades 7 - 12, as needed)                   $35.00

This fee covers the cost of a shirt and a pair of shorts. A S.C.A. gym uniform must be worn to P.E. class and it must be in clean and acceptable condition.

 

Athletic Participation: (Per student/per sport)                  $50.00

This fee helps to defray the cost of our athletic program.  This charge will be assessed at the beginning of each sport season (fall, winter, and spring).  In addition, the parents of each participating student will be scheduled to assist with concessions and/or gate during the season of their child’s competition.

 

Late Fee:                                                                   $25.00

This fee is assessed to any account with Springfield Christian Academy not paid in full by the first of each month.  (This fee is separate from any fees that may be assessed to your account with SMART TUITION)

 

Non-sufficient funds fee:                                             $25.00

This fee will be assessed to any account in the event that there is a check returned for non-sufficient funds.

 

Supervised Care Fees:

Supervised Care is available from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm.  The fee schedule is:

 

1st Child            $100.00 each month

2nd Child           $  80.00 each month

3rd Child            $  60.00 each month

 

Athletic Ticket Prices:

Regular season home game admission prices are $3.00 for adults or $5.00 for family (immediate family members only). S.C.A. students are admitted free to regular season home games (covered by the activity fee).  MACS tournament games are not considered regular season.
