INTRODUCTION TO ACADEMICS ¦
Springfield Christian Academy offers its students a strong academic program which aims to develop students both academically and spiritually. Our program emphasizes developing the whole child for God's glory. It is a well known fact that the foundation of any building is vital to its strength; the same is true in our lives as well. From elementary through high school students are building on the solid foundation laid down in the previous year. By the time students graduate from Sprinfield Christian Academy, they are competent individuals who are academically and spiritually prepared for the college and career that God has for them.
ELEMENTARY ¦
The elementary at SCA includes K - 5th grades. We offer a traditional, self-contained classroom environment for each grade as well as special music training by our music department. Each class provides a setting which is both exciting and nurturing. Teachers and administrators at SCA are committed to supporting the families of its students academically, physically and spiritually. Our desire is to create a safe and exciting learning environment for your child where they can develop their abilities for God's glory.
MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL¦
The middle school and high school at SCA focuses its efforts on preparing students for their next stages in life - the move from home to College and ultimately to the working world. We do this through classes that are specifically designed for college preparations. All students are required to take classes such as speech or foreign language, classes that are prerequisites for many college degrees. This carefully planned organization of core classes prepares them for the rigour of college classes and success in the working world. Because of these next stages in life, we emphasizes the student's spiritual life as well. We teach them that life is not just about personal gain, but about giving themselves for God's use and glory. |
